Easel Card – Fall Layers with Gorjuss

My friend Carrie and I are going to do a swap this fall. Since I had some time on hand this week, I made her a card. The problem was I didn’t have any fall-themed papers, but I didn’t want to purchase a paper pad just for making one card. So I went through my stash trying to find papers with fall colors or elements.

I ended up finding some papers in burgundy and brown, and a brown striped ribbon! Just the things I needed! I also played with my Gorjuss Girl stamp and some Spellbinders dies. For the Gorjuss Girl stamp image, I colored her hair in brown and I paper pierced her dress. I’m love paper piercing now! It makes the Gorjuss Girl to match the background so well. I love how all the colors complement each other in this card to give a autumn awakening feel. I finished it off by putting down a sentiment that says “Fall Layers”. Actually it’s kind of a pun because I have used so many layers to prop up my Gorjuss Girl 🙂
