Hello friends! Welcome to My Favorite Things August Creative Construction with Blueprints Challenge!

Blueprints feature many innovative designs that make it so easy to add interest to your projects without a lot of unnecessary effort. Frames that feature multiple openings allow you to compartmentalize and feature numerous images and sentiments without the monotony involved in aligning a variety of dies. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Blueprints that include these fantastic elements. (BP 2, 20, 27, 29)

Here is my Christmas card featuring Die-namics Blueprints 27. My theme is Christmas music and I want my card to be very bright and animated, like the music notes are jumping off the paper 🙂 Below are more details.

  1. Stamp the background with Joyous Christmas Sentiments and the music notes from BB Strike Up the Band Stamp Set in black
  2. Die cut the frame with Die-namics Blueprints 27 from Pineapple card stock. Cut the frame in half so it includes only 3 compartments
  3. Stamp the bunnies and the instruments from BB Strike Up the Band Stamp Set. Color with Copic Markers. Die cut out with the coordinating die-namics
  4. Adhere everything with foam tape to finish

  1. I like the boys in the band! We actually have an all volunteer theatre group called theatre alliance.
They are fantastic and do musicals and their theater is so small that the band literally is on the stairs…
    Just like your band!

  2. What a fab idea to cut down the frame so it’s a bespoke size! I absolutely love your background which just pops off the page with its energy. The band are delightful and you’ve chosen such a great mix of Christmas colours and fresh, zingy colours that really give the card a contemporary festive feel. Thanks for the inspiration! Esther
