STAMPtember Blog Hop & Giveaway

STAMPtember HOP 600x264

Hi friends! It’s STAMPtember time and we all know this is huge!!! For my card today, I used the super cute Picture Book French Bulldog Die. I went with a pop art inspired design with a soft twist.

To create my card, I die cut some paper with the Picture Book French Bulldog Die and used them as stencils. Then, on my watercolor card base, I blended in 15 different shades of distress inks. This is so fun and it only took me 10 minutes! For the bull dog, I colored parts of the images with Copic Markers and left some parts white. For my coloring, I only used three shades – E97, E15 and W5. Easiest coloring ever!

For the sentiment, I die cut some black card stock with the You’re A Star Word Die. To pull everything together, I used a piece of vellum to mute down the background. I also added a drop shadow for the bulldog to pop. Finally, I gave the bulldog a pair of sunglasses to go with the “You’re a star” theme 🙂

This card is seriously so easy to make. I hope you get some fun inspiration from my post! Now here comes the juicy part of the blog hop. Simon is giving away a $50 coupon to every stop on the hop! Be sure to leave a comment below to enter the giveaway. Simon will choose a winner over the weekend and announce on their blog next Tuesday!

  1. Love, love, love how you did that background! It definitely looks much harder than it is! Thanks for sharing such a great technique and project!!! 💖💕💖

  2. That is a seriously cute back ground! Very clever to make your own stencil! The whole card looks a lot more challenging then you explained – mostly because I couldn’t figure out how you did that background until you explained! Bet it was fun to make! Thanks for sharing your talent, creativity and designs with us!
