Here’s a look at my card today. I went a completely different direction from yesterday’s card 🙂

Bunny Flower (1)-1

I have used the large and small negative space of the Flashy Florals Die-namics to make happy flowers! This is so fun! I have used papers from Trail Mix Paper Pack and Fun & Frolic Paper Pack. Fun and Frolic Paper Pack was included in our April Card Kit which is currently sold out, but it will be available in our June release.

Bunny Flower (3)-1

Back to my card, I have also added the cute bunny from the Snuggle Bunnies set. I die-cutted “thanks” from the kit using Steel Grey card stock and highlighted it with a white strip. The white strip also provides a perfect ground for the bunny to stand on. Actually, I think white, yellow and grey are really pretty when used together!

Lastly, I embellished with some PPP Pumpkin and Sparkling Clear sequins.

That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out MFT blog for more inspirations of the Flashy Florals Card Kit! Happy crafting!!

My card is made “out of the box”. That means I have used supplies from the kit along with other MFT supplies.

Here is my leaf card! The single new leaf is a symbol of Spring and the new life it brings. I love the fresh colors and the simplicity of this card! After a while, you just have to go back to clean and simple!

New Leaf (1)-1

New Leaf (2)-1

  1. Die cut a lot of “hello” using the die from the kit. Adhere them diagonally on a white panel
  2. Die cut with Die-namics Stitched Circle Scallop Frames to be the shaker opening. Build the shaker with acetate, foam tape and PPP marshmallow seed beads and sparkling clear sequins. The background is sponged with Wild Honey distress ink then added a few splatters
  3. Stamp the leaf from the kit using Limelight and Field Day dye ink. I first inked up half of the stamp with Limelight, then I used my ink blending tool to sponge on some Field Day ink. Then, stamp to get the beautiful gradient effect. Die cut out the leaf accordingly
  4. Embellish with some hemp cord to finish

New Leaf (3)-1

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoy my post! Don’t forget to check out MFT blog for more inspirations of the Flashy Florals Card Kit! I will see you tomorrow at the new kit release!

  • Jungle Friends 3″ x 4″ stamp set
  • Jungle Friends Die-namics
  • Surf & Turf Die-namics
  • Fun & Frolic 6″ x 6″ Paper Pack
  • Card Stock – 15 sheets: Smooth White (3 sheets), Primitive Cream (2 sheets), Blu Raspberry, Cement Gray, Chocolate Brown, Gravel Gray, Gumdrop Green, Orange Fizz, Persimmon, Pineapple, Sour Apple, Summer Splash
  • Spin & Slide Discs – 1 bag of approximately 25 discs

Here is a look at my card.

3 elephants (2)

All the elephants can turn along the circle track. Instead of using the tracks in the kit, you can also use whatever tracks you like by using two die-cuts together e.g. circle, rectangle, heart…

I have turned the grass dies into stamps by die-cutting them out of craft foam. Then, I stamped it all over my background. My elephants were colored with Copic markers. I even gave them heart-shaped blushes to match their tails LOL!

As you can tell, I made three elephants with party hats because this is a birthday card for a 3-year-old boy. The elephants can spin around clockwise or anti-clockwise along the circle track. I just love how fun this is! I hope my recipient won’t break it though. You know how it is with a 3-year-old kid…. Well, I guess I will just let my spinner card fulfill its destiny…

That’s it for today. This kit is a super fun one! Don’t you think so? Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Hi friends! It’s time to reveal MFT April Card Kit – Jungle Friends!! This kit is very different from the past ones, because there are no critter stamps! Instead, the animals are all die cuts! The cards I made from this kit look very fresh and different, not to mention that the critters can spin and slide! MFT has made another amazingly unique kit!

Jungle Friends Card Kit:

  • Jungle Friends 3″ x 4″ stamp set
  • Jungle Friends Die-namics
  • Surf & Turf Die-namics
  • Fun & Frolic 6″ x 6″ Paper Pack
  • Card Stock – 15 sheets: Smooth White (3 sheets), Primitive Cream (2 sheets), Blu Raspberry, Cement Gray, Chocolate Brown, Gravel Gray, Gumdrop Green, Orange Fizz, Persimmon, Pineapple, Sour Apple, Summer Splash
  • Spin & Slide Discs – 1 bag of approximately 25 discs

My card today is made “out of the box”. That means I have used supplies from the kit along with other supplies. Here is my card. Pay attention to the giraffe because he is the main character. His friends are bringing him special grass/leaves for his special day.

Giraffe Special Day (1)

Here is a picture of how the giraffe slides across to eat the grass from his friends.

Giraffe Special Day Collage

I have used Copic markers to color all my animals and they look so cute in this no-line storybook look. For the landscape background, I used one of the die cuts as stencils and sponged distress inks and added water droplets. I have also die-cutted the special grass using the patterned paper. Other ordinary grass on the ground is distressed with distress inks.

Giraffe Special Day (2)

Isn’t this so fun and different? I love it! That’s it for today. I will see you tomorrow at the new kit release!
