Guest Video for My Favorite Things

Hello! Happy Tuesday! Today is actually my birthday so happy birthday to me 🙂 I am guesting for My Favorite Things today on their YouTube channel. I have been following them for a while and I noticed they are getting better and better at educating us fellow crafters on how to use their products. I am very happy that I have the opportunity of showing my hands on their channel, literally LOL.

Today I’m focusing on card stock and patterned paper. My video shows how I combined card stock and ink blending technique to create a sweet country style wedding card. There is no coloring needed for this card, just stamping, die-cutting and ink blending. I have also used colored card stock as my card base to elevate the overall design of the card.

Happy Monday! Keeway and I are doing a mini collaboration today to share our storytelling tips. We have been working like a horse the whole weekend on this LOL!

Collaboration Picture_800

We’d like to share a video that is packed with tips and tricks. In our video, we used the same stamp set to create a card each as an example to share our thought process and execution. This video aims to share and inspire! I hope you will enjoy it below.

If you don’t remember everything from the video, don’t worry. Here’s a few key points from me:

  1. Planning – Have a theme
  2. Execute – Make sure every element of your card (the background, sentiment, focal point, etc.) match the theme

I really hope you like the video we created together! Don’t forget to check out Keeway’s blog for her awesome card and storytelling tips. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
